Cassini II was never used in sports himself, but he impressed with his enormous ability in his free jumping appearances.

As a sire, Cassini II can still score with his highly successful offspring. In 2018 he was in 38th place in the WBFSH's worldwide sire ranking. His most successful son at the moment is Cassini Z, who is successful in jumping up to 1.60m under the Irishman Darragh Kenny.
